160% sales increase in the first three months

Voss is a specialist Sauvignon Blanc vineyard from the Napa Valley California. Since the brand’s release in 1990 the Sauvignon Blanc market has moved towards a significantly female base and as a result the brand needed a refresh to keep up with this market trend.

The rebrand takes its design inspiration from the botanist explorer Andreas Voss and the wild flowers that grow in-between the vines across the estate. The team at Voss appreciate that healthy living soil produces grapes that better reflect their terroir and respect the ecosystem as a whole. This total focus on organic farming methods is something the brand is very proud of.

The centrepiece of the brand is a botanical drawing of the Californian Tiger Lily which has been printed with a clear pearlescent foil on Manter stock, overprinting the illustration detail and finishing with flecks of gold foil to catch the light.

In a very short space of time the 2014 release has been extremely well received with the new label design recently winning a Bronze at the prestigious San Francisco International Wine Competition and achieving an incredible 160% sales increase since launching in May.
